CAROLYN CAVANAGH

Carolyn discovered her gift of voice and music at a very young age. She began her music journey as an expression of her love for God, and joyfully provided musical offerings at her family's small country Church in upstate NY. Later she moved to Rochester, NY where she deepened her calling by reaching outside of the Church bringing comfort and healing to those who were sick and/or home-bound. 

 

As time went on Carolyn continued her musical journey by offering concerts in Christian coffee houses in New England along with a variety of musical performances with other musical artists including Tim Janis.

The year 2006 was an especially difficult time as Carolyn began suffering health issues and chronic fatigue. This event forced her to set aside a music career and ministry, to focusing on finding a solution to her condition. The effort was a full time journey reading endless medical journals and consulting with professionals of all sorts. It was at this time, she discovered the miracle of diet choices and emotional wellness as methods to help her body heal and to keep symptoms from reoccurring.  This led Carolyn to become an awareness advocate; sharing her wellness journey with others.  She then created an inspiring informational website for hope and inspiration titled:  Carolyn Cavanagh Wellness.

Today, Carolyn is a motivational speaker for health, and is once again working with music. This time with even more passion and conviction - rising out of the ashes. She is involved in recordings of all sorts including writing, producing, and performing original music, narration for audio books, voice over singing for documentaries (The Pyramid Code  Netflix) Hallmark commercials, Christian healing meditations, radio show spots, and more.

"It's so good to be back! Music has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. It was my first love. As a little girl I was already composing worship songs. At the young age of 10, I shyly sang in church accompanied by my guitar. Oh how I long for those days again. The simplicity. The pure joy. Even though I didn't know it at the time, the early days built a strong foundation for my walk with the Lord in in the future.

I still continue to share music at church, but also am fulfilling my dream of recording music for all to hear. It is my prayer that this music fills your soul with God's love. That it somehow be used to glorify Him and honor Him. That it may be used by God to minister others and heal those with a broken heart. That it may be used as a comfort to anyone in need.
